A woman in Manipur, India waits to see a doctor.

DATELINE: Churachandpur Town, Manipur, India
Wednesday, November 2, 2011, 5:28 a.m.
Fog shrouded the wooded hills of Churachandpur as we awoke this morning at 5:00 a.m.—the sun already risen somewhere above the thick clouds. As Starbucks via packets were emptied into travel mugs and plastic cups of Indian milk tea were downed, chilliness and fatigue turned to excitement and anticipation of the day ahead. The women preparing breakfast and already washing clothes at the guesthouse where we are staying—Believers in Yeshua—sing morning songs and psalms as they work. The words are lost on our American ears, but the joy transcends. Today is Wednesday, “hump day,” but we are ready.
On Monday and Tuesday we saw 2,203 patients through the medical clinic. At 1,000 patients, Monday was a record first day for Jewish Voice. Of these patients, 1,162 visited the prayer room, where they received prayer for healing and where the Gospel of Yeshua was shared with each one. We are praising the Lord for 93 new professions of faith in Yeshua on Monday and Tuesday, including several from the Bnei Menashe.
Josiah, one of the local “Manmasi” (Bnei Menashe elders), has worked closely with us to spread the word about our clinic since last weekend. He has brought more than 300 from his local Manmasi community alone to the clinic for medical, dental, and much-needed eye treatment. Beyond this, we know that many other sub-communities of Manmasi have received word of the clinic and have come through apart from Josiah’s leadership. (more…)

Jewish Voice CEO Jonathan Bernis explains the adventure in discovering and ministering to a new Jewish community called the Gefat people of Woliso, Ethiopia, linked to the Lost Tribes of Israel, during a Jewish Voice medical mission trip earlier this year.
From this mission, JVMI was able to plant a Bible school through the Messianic Jewish Bible Institute (MJBI) with some 170 students. More outreaches in the future look likely for Jewish Voice to minister to the Yiber tribe of Somaliland and the Lemba of Zimbabwe. It’s a true “Indiana Jones” adventure. http://www.jewishvoice.org

Hi, friends and newbies to the Jewish Voice blog,
We are so excited that we have video straight from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the site of our medical outreach to two Jewish communities, the Beta Avraham and the Beta Israel! Don’t forget to click “share” at the end of this blog post to send this to those you care about who need to know about this.
These impoverished Lost Tribes of Israel are desperate for medical care. We bring a group of volunteers at least once a year to Ethiopia to offer medical care free of charge. That includes eye care and dental care as well. It’s always a wonderful time of not only bringing in a team of skilled doctors to bless those who could never afford this type of healthcare, but also a wonderful time of ministry. God always does amazing things among these two Jewish tribes, healing them supernaturally and revealing Himself as their Messiah. (more…)

How do we identify the Lost Tribes of Israel so that we can then minister the love of Yeshua (Jesus) and free medical care to them? This question was raised recently on our November 19 webcast. Jonathan Bernis answers this question and further explains more about the tribes we minister to regularly and how God is helping Jewish Voice restore these outcasts of Israel.
