Israel Tour: Halfway Point Happenings

Our Jewish Voice Israel tour participants are having a wonderful time in the Land of Israel. Today will count as their fourth day in the Land, and they are spending a lot of time at many historic and biblical sites.

The last two days of the group’s journey have begun early and ended fairly late in the evening. Between yesterday and today, the group took a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee; visited a kibbutz (a community that works together and shares all items in common); visited one of the traditional sites of the transfiguration— Mount Hermon; participated in an immersion (baptism) in the Jordan River, took a tour of Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes, and Megiddo (Armageddon); and finally stopped in Jerusalem today. There was a lot of walking, but a nice rest during the immersion in the Jordan.

It’s difficult to believe that the 2010 Jewish Voice Israel tour is almost at the halfway mark! It feels like the tour just began.
