Manipur Photo Moment: Tess Prays for Quadriplegic

By Lavi Matesan,

DATELINE: Churachandpur, Manipur, INDIA

Medical volunteer Tess Cox prays for a soul in Manipur.Elizabeth, age 5, a quadriplegic who was functioning at a 4-month-old level, came to the Jewish Voice medical clinic with Aunt Chongtuotling, a 37-year-old woman who suffered from dehydration and hemmorhoids.

Auntie brought Elizabeth to the clinic because she believed American doctors could treat Elizabeth. When seen by Tess, one of our medical volunteers, Auntie was told that nothing medically could be done, but not to lose hope because there was always the option of placing faith in Yeshua for healing. Though normally physical therapy would be prescribed, the recommendation here was for time in the Prayer Room. Auntie regained her sense of hope.

May it be granted to Auntie, who carries Elizabeth on her back, that health and healing come to them both because she believed. May Auntie be rewarded for her hope and faith in Yeshua, who is able to do ALL things!
