Strategies for Breaking Through the Evangelistic Barriers and Effectively Reaching Your Jewish Community

Location: Jewish Voice Ministries International Messianic Media Center, Phoenix, AZ

Cost: $185 per person and $100 for each additional person. Cost includes three meals per day for the three-day conference. Hotel is not included in the cost.

Jonathan Bernis of Jewish Voice

For more than 25 years, Rabbi Jonathan Bernis has worked on the forefront of world evangelism, taking the Good News of Israel’s Messiah to the far reaches of the earth, to the Jewish People, and also to the Nations. Today, as President of Jewish Voice Ministries International, and our associated organizations in Canada and the United Kingdom, Jonathan directs all aspects of the ministry, including the weekly television program Jewish Voice with Jonathan Bernis. A much sought-after author and speaker, Jonathan teaches at conferences and churches around the world. A passionate supporter of Israel, he is an active member on the boards of many Israel-based ministries, and has been instrumental in the founding of pro-Israel and Israel-Church reconciliation organizations. Jonathan resides in Phoenix, Ariz., with his wife, Elisangela, and their daughter, Li’el.

Gifted as a pastor and teacher, Bill is a theologian of mission with scholarship specializations in Jewish Studies and in Contemporary Western Culture. He is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and holds a Ph.D. from the School of Intercultural Studies of Fuller Theological Seminary. Bill has taught theology of mission as adjunct professor at Biola University (2005). He is currently part-time faculty at William Carey International University in Pasadena, Calif., and teaches periodically in the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement Study Program. Dr. Raymond L. Gannon has been involved in widespread Jewish evangelism, Messianic synagogue planting, and Bible college and seminary teaching ministries over the past 38 years. After successful Jewish evangelism and discipling ministry in the early 1970s, Ray pioneered his first Messianic congregation in 1973 in Los Angeles.  Gannon opened new Jewish outreaches in the San Francisco Bay Area from 1975 to 1979, and later pioneered and pastored Messianic congregations in Long Island (1980) and Queens (1983), as well as directed Beth Emanuel Fellowship in Northeast Philadelphia from 1983 to 1988. Before moving to Jerusalem to co-pastor King of Kings Assembly in 1989, Dr. Gannon taught missions and Jewish studies at Central Bible College, Valley Forge Christian College, and the Christ for the Nations Biblical Institute (New York campus).  Upon arrival in Jerusalem, Ray pioneered the Israel College of the Bible, which provided the first successful, ongoing, and fully-accredited Bible college for Israelis.  In addition to serving as Visiting Professor of Missions and Jewish Studies at AGTS since 1996, Ray has held ordination with the Assemblies of God since 1974. In 2003 Ray returned from Israel to assume the post of National Representative for Jewish Ministries with the Assemblies of God. In 2007 Ray was asked by Jonathan Bernis and Jewish Voice to spearhead the new Messianic Jewish Studies program at The King’s College and Seminary (www.TheKingsJewishVoice.org), where Jack Hayford serves as Founder and Chancellor. Dr. Gannon also teaches online classes for the Jewish Voice Institute of Messianic Studies (link to www.jvims.com). Dr. Gannon holds graduate degrees from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Princeton Theological Seminary, California Graduate School of Theology, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.  Ray and his wife, Kassiani, are the parents of three adult children, two of whom are in full-time ministries.

Kevin Geoffrey

Kevin Geoffrey

Kevin Geoffrey is a father, a husband, and a Jewish disciple of the Messiah Yeshua. He is also the principal laborer of Perfect Word Ministries, a Messianic Jewish equipping ministry. Kevin is the author of five books, including the Messianic Daily Devotional and The Messianic Life: Being a Disciple of Messiah, and is also a regular contributor to Jewish Voice Today magazine. Throughout his more than twelve years in the Messianic Jewish movement, Kevin has worked in various areas of ministry, including congregational planting and leadership, as well as itinerant teaching and leading praise and worship in Messianic congregations, seminars, and regional, national, and international Messianic Jewish conferences. Jason Sobel

Jason Sobel

The UMJC (Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations) granted Jason his Rabbinic ordination in 2005, and he now serves in many capacities on both a national and local level in greater Los Angeles. Rabbi Jason is the founder of FUSION, an outreach and teaching ministry committed to increasing the spiritual growth of Jewish and Gentile believers, teaching the Jewish roots of the faith, and advancing The Kingdom through unity in Yeshua. In addition, Rabbi Jason is the leader of Ruach LA, a next generation Messianic community. In the spring of 2000, Jason began to plant and led Sha’arei Shalom Messianic Jewish Synagogue in Cary, North Carolina. He has served the UMJC as the Associate Director for Under-40 Initiatives and also worked with Chosen People Ministries as an Assistant to the President. Rabbi Jason has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Jewish Studies and a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies. He is passionate about developing spiritual leaders, teaching the Hebrew Bible and New Covenant from a Jewish perspective, and praying for the and sick hurting, all while fostering unity between Jews and Gentiles. Jack Zimmerman

Jack Zimmerman of Jewish Voice

JVMI’s Staff Evangelist, Jack Zimmerman, is an Ordained Christian Pastor and a Messianic Jewish Rabbi at Congregation Beth Simcha in Phoenix, Ariz. (www.bethsimchat.com). He is a former stand-up comedian and has an engaging wit and dynamic speaking style. His deep understanding of the Hebrew roots of the Christian faith makes him a valuable teacher of the Word. He is an award winning reporter, radio host, and television host and has taught Bible classes throughout the United States and at theological universities in Russia and Ukraine.
