Jewish Voice mourns the death of Moishe Rosen, the founder of Jews for Jesus, who died May 19 after battling bone cancer. Rosen, who began his ministry in 1973, was a longtime friend of Jonathan Bernis and Jewish Voice and father in the Messianic Movement. His tenure as Executive Director of Jews for Jesus spanned 23 amazing years. Rosen will be remembered for his extensive efforts in Jewish evangelism. He was 78.
The memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in San Francisco, Calif., on June 1, 2010 at 2 p.m.
