The trip was really amazing, and my life will never be the same. In fact, I feel like part of my heart is in Africa. I will be praying for another opportunity to go again!

Our team was kind of cooped up in the OR most of the time, which was all good. I did get to meet a young boy who was a patient at our Jewish Voice medical clinic. His father died when he was younger and his mother is a street beggar. Ophthalmologist Dr. Rampona was seeing him because he only had one “good” eye, and the good eye was infected pretty badly.

He waited in line for the medical clinic by himself, and at the end of the day, Dr. Doug led him in prayer to accept Jesus into his heart.  It was very moving and emotional. He asked questions and thought about it, so that was a moment that will hopefully never leave me.

Did you know that you make it possible for Jewish Voice to take trips like this to the far corners of the earth to personally touch the lives of desperate Jewish People with the love of Yeshua? Your prayer support, volunteer efforts, and financial blessing make all the difference. Thank you!
